All of the co-ops increased the price for August milk.

Since going to print last week, Kerry increased by 1.5c/l to 34.06c/litre (ex VAT), as did Dairygold, which will pay 34.15c/l for August milk.

Arrabawn has increased its price by 1c/l to 34.06c/l. Carbery also announced on Friday that it would be increasing its pricde. Aurivo is increassing by 1c/l, along with a 1c/l bonus. This brought the price to 34.63c/l. LacPatrick went up 1c/litre to 33.86c/l, while in Northern Ireland, milk prices have hit 30p/l.

This week’s GDT auction saw a small increase of 0.9%, which now stands at $3,368/tonne.

Butter prices were up 1.2% to $6,026/t, while whole milk powder prices were up 0.6% to $3,122/t.
