Landowners, tenant farmers and agents now have a new Code of Practice when deciding the future of Limited Partnerships. The code is designed to minimise uncertainty when farms are approach the dissolution of their limited partnership. It provides steps which should be taken by all parties when discussing future arrangements.

Tenant Farming Commissioner Bob McIntosh said: “Limited Partnerships have served the tenant farming sector well, but they now have restricted use. There are over 500 limited partnerships still in existence and many are reaching their dissolution date.”
