Latest registration figures from the FTMTA statistics service show that just 13 new combine harvesters were registered by the end of June.
There was a total of 65 new combine harvesters registered in Ireland in 2013. As most of these were registered in July and August, we can expect significant numbers in the coming days.
Combine buyers are taking the secondhand option to a greater extent – 30 used combines were imported and registered in the first six months of the year. This compares with 40 used combines registered in 2013.
