It is better to spray now, when weeds are at the vegetative growth stage, rather than waiting until June, when they are gone past it and pushing out seed heads. Spot spraying is suitable for low infestations or small areas.

Whether you are spraying with a knapsack or a boom sprayer, you are considered a professional user and must be registered as such with the Department of Agriculture. You must have completed a training course to do so.
