The 6 series is available in 12 models, ranging from 156hp to 226hp. Furthermore, it is also available in two platform variants, three transmission types, two cabin configurations with different comfort levels, and various other feature options, allowing the series to offer customers a tractor customised to suit their needs.

The series is available in three transmission options – Powershift, New RCshift and TTV. The Powershift transmission has five mechanical gear speeds, plus six powershift steps, with three in reverse.

RCshift is a fully automatic transmission, with the R standing for the robotic functionality of the new system. TTV models are fitted with the latest-generation CVT transmission, offering stepless speed changes from 0.2 to 60km/h.

All transmission types will reach 40km/h or 50km/h maximum speed at reduced engine speeds, thus saving on fuel. The new tractors increase operator comfort with the addition of the new MaxiVision cab. Information is relayed to the driver via the InfoCentrePro on the dashboard, which features a 5in colour display.

The new MaxCom armrest control provides improved operator comfort, while the cab interior is an altogether quieter environment, with significantly reduced engine noise, vibration and heat due to the fact that the cab and engine hood are not connected.

The 6 series cab is equipped with both electro-hydraulic spool valves (for TTV and RCshift models) and mechanical spool valves (for RCshift and Powershift models), with the availability of front lift and loader controls in both formats.

Working at night is easier with the optional 40,000 Lumen LED package, with up to 16 worklights. Up front, it is powered by the new Deutz 6.1 Tier4 Final engine, which Deutz-Fahr claims offers a higher reserve and start torque and, at the same time, reduces fuel consumption and AdBlue by 5% compared with T3b models.

Keeping everything cool under pressure is a new Electronic Visco fan and all aluminium cooling system. Comfort is increased with a new front-axle design with an intelligent, adaptive suspension and anti-dive system, which ensures stability and safety during transport.

High-performance dry disc brakes on the front axle (6205 and 6215 TTV) work in combination with the booster brake system, ensuring maximum braking performance with the lightest pedal pressure.

The series is available with up to five hydraulic valves in the rear and two in the front, with all hydraulic valves controlled proportionally.

The front lift has a revised lift capacity of up to 5,480kg, along with a front plug-in ISOBUS socket, while the rear lifting capacity goes up to 10,000kg, with an optional LS hydraulic pump delivering up to 170 litres/min.

PTO speeds are 540, 540ECO, 1000, 1000ECO at the rear and 1000 or 1000ECO at the front. The 6 series can now be factory fitted with the iMonitor 2.0 advance farming system, which features a large 12in screen.
