McHale is also recruiting for an electronic design engineer who will participate in the design/ building/ testing of electronic control systems and wiring harnesses on agricultural machinery. The company is also recruiting to fill a design engineer role for which three to five years of mechanical design experience is required. Further afield, McHale is also looking for a service engineer in the UK.
Dairymaster, which operates from its base in Causeway, Co Kerry, is looking for design engineers (electrical/compliance), production engineers and product support engineers with German as well as mechanical design engineers. The dairy equipment manufacturer will be conducting walk-in interviews on their stand at the fair.
Bring your CV to the Agri Careers fair
If you are interested in applying for any of these roles, make sure to bring along a CV and be prepared to answer questions on why you would like to work for Dairymaster or why you think you are a potential candidate. A select number of people will be chosen for second-round interviews.
Candidates who are successful in getting the mechanical design engineer positions will be involved in the design and optimisation of farm buildings for the agricultural sector and will be providing architectural design services and solutions on construction projects. They must have proven ability to work with in areas relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. Meanwhile, production engineers must have deep knowledge of manufacturing and production processes and concepts.
Another exhibitor at the fair, CLAAS, is looking for six to seven service engineers. These positions are based in the UK.
