Experts deliver part-time diploma at UCD Smurfit School
If you're a food industry professional who would love to draw upon the expertise of people outside your company to help face particular business challenges, then this may be the course for you.
The Diploma in Strategic Growth (Food Industry) starts in the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School on 18 December.
The course addresses specific challenges facing the food sector. Participants will gain insights into Irish and international food business, and benefit from the networking opportunities presented by the course.
Modules will be taught by academics from UCD Smurfit School, Harvard Business School, IMD Business School, Switzerland, and Ivey Business School (University of Western Ontario). The programme is designed for individuals with a minimum of three years’ professional experience, of which a minimum of one has been in the food industry.

The programme includes five modules. Each lasts two to three days and takes place over a nine-month period. The course costs €6,225 for alumni and €6,950 for non-alumni. The Diploma in Strategic Growth (Food Industry) is accredited and awarded by UCD. There are no examinations for this course. Instead, participants are assessed through a variety of practical assignments.
