Gardaí said they searched a house at Rassilagh near Oldcastle, Co Meath on Tuesday as part of Operation Thor and recovered two Audi cars, a rigid inflatable motor boat, four lawnmowers and power tools.
They arrested a man in his 30s at the scene and detained him at Kells garda station.
"The property is believed to have been stolen during burglaries in the mid-lands, particularly in counties Meath and Westmeath," An Garda Síochána said in a statement.

A local farmer told the Irish Farmers Journal that he has since identified one of the recovered ride-on lawnmowers as the one stolen from his locked garage during a break-in last month. He added that other pieces of farm equipment stolen on the same night were still missing.
