A farmer in Norfolk has been cheated out of £15,000 by a now sacked policeman.
According to reports, the farmer allowed the policeman onto his land with his metal detector having made an agreement to evenly split the value of anything valuable that was found.
However, when PC David Cockle found valuable gold coins worth thousands of pounds he reneged on the deal and kept proceeds of the sale for himself.
