Gardaí have told the Irish Farmers Journal that a farm fatality occurred in the Ballylongford area in Kerry on Monday morning. The accident occurred at approximately 10am and the body has been removed to Tralee.
The Irish Farmers Journal understands that the 65-year-old was crushed by a tractor.
The Gardai and HSA are currently investigating the incident. This is the fourth farm death in 2016, the third involving machinery.
