With an improving forecast (see page 63) and rising temperatures, fertiliser sales are on the increase.
Depending on the region, CAN is trading between €270/t and €300/t. For 10-10-20, farmers are being quoted €415/t. On average, 24-2.5-10 is selling for €385/t to €400/t. Farmers in Connacht would appear to be paying more.
Prices for 18-6-12 is making between €380/t and €400/t. Again it is farmers in the west who are paying the most.

By and large, cash deals are returning a saving of between €5/t and €10/t.
