Southeastern Nüsli Snack

A new snack produced at Killowen Farm in Co Wexford can now be found on our shelves, thanks to Dermot Hanley, an investment banker-turned-food entrepreneur. This “new muesli” is based on an old Swiss alpine recipe for bircher muesli. Nüsli is a blend of yoghurt, apple juice, whole grains, fruit and nuts, and is made with ingredients produced in the southeast of Ireland.

Some suppliers include Killowen Yoghurt, Ballycross Apple Farm, Kells Wholemeal and Flahavan’s. It is available in three flavours: multi-berries, blueberry, and apple and blackberry.

Nüsli products can be found in the grab and go fridges of selected Dunnes, Apple Green, Centra, Londis, SPAR and SuperValu stores.

It can be purchased for €2 in Supervalu and Centra stores throughout the month of July. For the first three weeks of July, you can buy a Tropicana Juice and Nüsli for €3 in Londis. For further information, you can email info@nusli.com or visit www.nusli.com
