I see former Northern Ireland editor of the Irish Farmers Journal, James Campbell, was named on Queen Elizabeth’s birthday honours list last week, and is to receive an MBE for services to agriculture.

He joined the Irish Farmers Journal in 1984 and held the position of northern editor until June 2013. He is also a former chair of the Northern Ireland Agricultural Research and Development Council (AgriSearch).

The Dealer loves a good day out, so if he needs company on his trip to Buckingham Palace, I’d be glad to go along.
