Grass & Muck

FTMTA is encouraging intending visitors to FTMTA Grass & Muck to purchase tickets in advance from a link on the home page of the FTMTA website at www.ftmta.ie which will take you to the secure ticket sales site. People buying tickets in this way will receive an e-ticket by email. Online tickets are currently available at a cost of €10 as against a charge of €15 on the day. A combined ticket offering admission and a breakfast roll with tea or coffee can be purchased online for €13 for a limited time. The online tickets represent great value and will save you time on the day.

FTMTA Grass & Muck 2014 at Gurteen College, Ballingarry, Roscrea, Co Tipperary (near Birr) on Wednesday 14 May will be the showcase event for the Irish farm machinery industry this year.

All interested in seeing the latest in grass technology in operation should take the opportunity to visit this event, which will open to the public at 9am and conclude at 5pm.

Ample parking will be provided adjacent to the site. A no-parking zone will be in effect in the vicinity of Gurteen College and will be strictly enforced by An Garda Síochána with a tow-away policy in operation.

On the site itself, safety is the watchword and visitors are asked to heed the fact that FTMTA Grass & Muck 2014 is a working machinery demonstration and to comply with the instructions of safety officers and stewards.

FTMTA golf outing

The summer outing of the FTMTA Golfing Society will take place on Friday 23 May at Mount Wolseley Golf Resort, Tullow, Co Carlow. The society is grateful to AIB Finance & Leasing for its sponsorship of the prizes for the outing.

Tee times will be between 12.40pm and 2.10pm. The cost for golf and dinner is €50 per head. The annual subscription of €10 in relation to membership of the golfing society is also due.

There will also be a ladies’ competition run with the main prize for the ladies section being the Paddy Callan Perpetual Trophy.
