FTMTA AGM

The AGM of the Farm Tractor & Machinery Trade Association for 2015 was held recently at the association’s premises near Naas.

The overall mood of the AGM was positive regarding the market conditions faced by the machinery trade. The prevailing feeling was that 2014, despite a tougher second half, was the best year experienced by the trade since the onset of the global recession in late 2008. Those present were confident about conditions in 2015 to date, despite an undeniable effect from agricultural commodity prices.

Details of FTMTA president Donal Fitzpatrick’s address to the AGM will be included next week.
