Innogy, the renewables arm of Germany’s second largest electricity company RWE, has bought the Co Kerry Dromadda Beg Wind Farm project from forestry consultant Peter O’Brien and landowner Helen O’Brien. The project has planning permission for three turbines due to be erected next month. Innogy chief executive Peter Terium said Ireland is an exciting market and further acquisitions will follow here.
