It is not possible to say for definite if the current rise in grain prices is a trend or a spike but the price offers are seriously worth considering given the trend in maize prices.

Grain prices are currently undergoing a welcome lift. Glanbia made an offer on Tuesday 20 June, which is €5/t to €6/t higher than its last offer.
While it seems that prices are on the up, this is mainly a milling wheat drive and US maize prices have already dipped.
So offers for €146/t for green wheat and €135/t for green barley for harvest must be worth considering for a tonnage.
And dry wheat prices of €180/t or €166/t for barley are available today for November.
