Grain prices are undergoing a welcome lift. Glanbia made an offer on Tuesday 20 June, which is €5/t to €6/t higher than its last. Dry wheat prices of €180/t or €166/t for barley were available this week for November.

This is mainly a milling wheat drive and US maize prices have already dipped. For this reason, offers for €146/t for green wheat and €135/t for green barley for harvest are being considered by farmers interested in selling.
