One of the final auctions of the season for selling agent Thomas Potterton, Trim finished on a high note last week when he sold a fine 117-acre residential farm situated at Mullaghroe, Slane, Co Meath for €1.17m.
The property, which is situated close to the beautiful Tankardstown Country House, came to the market with a single-storey three-bedroom residence, a courtyard, a traditional farmyard and 117 acres of excellent quality land.
Mullaghroe generated a lot of local and Dublin-based inquiries over the past few weeks, as well as some interest from the west of Ireland, but on the day, Navan-based agent John Harrington from Smith Harrington, Navan bought the farm for a client who is thought to be a local farmer.
