Nathan Carter has released a 12-track seasonal album. Christmas Stuff features a host of favourites as well as two self-penned songs by the 24-year-old, who has enjoyed quite a phenomenal year on the circuit, including the Nathan and Friends week in Spain back in September.

Alanna Dennedy has opted for an old favourite as her new single. Winter Wonderland was recorded in Music Row Studios in Ballydesmond and produced by Leo Fitzgerald.

Waterford singer Derek Veale has penned his own song, It’s Christmas Time Again. Derek recorded it in Glen Studios in Bonmahon where it was engineered by Robert Weldon, son of the late Mattie, a great favourite in the southeast over the years.

John McNicholl is no stranger to Christmas songs, having enjoyed success in recent years with his fine rendition of Beautiful Star of Bethlehem. This time he has released a number entitled Christmas Shoes.

Colman Cloran from Ardrahan has recorded his first DVD. It features his own song, When The Moon Shines Bright Over Mayo, and is now available to view on YouTube. It was produced by Mike Fitzgerald of Southern Pride.

Bridget Gildea from Ardara, Co Donegal, who died last week, was the mother-in-law of well-known showbiz manager Kevin McCooey, Castleblayney. Condolences are tendered to Marian (nee Gildea) and Kevin, and to all the Gildea family on their bereavement.

Gonna Have A Party is the new release from Noel Flynn. The Meath man released his album, My Guiding Light, some months ago. This excellent album was recorded in Darkins Sound Studios in Trim.
