Trevor Loughrey will record his new DVD during a live dance session in the Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny, on 28 November. The show starts at 10.30pm. The Ryan Turner Band will provide the music for Trevor and guests, and Seamus O’Donnell will be on hand to film the scenes for the video.

Bridie O’Neill, who died in Glenamaddy last week, was the wife of late Joe O’Neill, one of the best-known ballroom promoters in the country in former times. Joe and the family operated the House of Music in Glenamaddy and the Sound of Music in Cong for many years.

Antrim man Johnny Brady, recipient of the Performer of The Year Award at the recent NI Awards at the Armagh City Hotel, is delighted with the response to his new single, A Gift From Above. Johnny’s new album is due out in a few days.

Pat Costello has released a new single, I Can’t Imagine Me Without You. The song was composed by Pat McKenna from Derry and is proving popular for the Tipperary man, who plays the social dancing scene.

The Keane Brothers of Caherlistrane will host their now annual Christmas concerts in the Claregalway Hotel on 2 January and 3 January. Sean, Matt, Pat and Noel, will be joined by other musicians and guests for these special shows. Tickets are on sale from the Claregalway Hotel.

Meet Me Half Way is the new self-penned single from Martin Byrne. A new album will be released later. Martin also hopes to record some of his own songs as duets with Louise Morrissey.

The Bachelors in Trouble released the new DVD at a big show in Crotty’s of Leamybrien, last Friday night. It should be a popular favourite for the Waterford duo this Christmas.
