Employers' lobby group IBEC has called for €220m in supports for Ireland’s agri-food industry.

The industry body says EU and national government funding should be provided over a three-year period to support businesses as a result of Brexit.

It identifies agriculture as one of the most exposed sectors from Brexit and is calling for a temporary state aid framework similar to that introduced in 2009.
