IFAC, the account and tax advisor group for farmers will be looking for 20 fully-qualified accountants at this year’s fair, while the remaining 10 positions will be for graduates and trainees.

The farm accountancy practice employs 180 people and has 26 branches nationwide. IFAC has a client base of approximately 14,000 clients and is the 11th largest accountancy practice in Ireland.

Last year IFAC recruited 25 new people within the company.

IFAC offers a range of services to farmers such as recording services, management reports and consultancy services and has provided consultancy services and expertise to IFA, Macra, banks, and other accountants.

Graduate programme

The company offers a structured graduate training package, where graduates enter into a training contract for up to three and a half years.

IFAC looks for graduates who have an accounting or business background and a strong academic track record with a minimum 2:2 degree.

Training and development of staff includes full support during professional studies, an internal training programme, continuous feedback as well as progressive and comprehensive career development.
