Our condolences go out to Ireland’s Senior Show Jumping Team manager, Robert Splaine, whose dad Ernest died the day before St Partick’s Day. He reached the good age of 90 and throughout his life he was a terrific supporter of Robert in all of his endeavours.
There was a great turnout for his funeral at St Multose Church in nearby Kinsale, and at his burial in the family plot in Ballymartie.
Likewise, our condolences go out to the Kenny Family of Newline Stud, Abbeyleix, on the passing of Eamonn (Ned) Kenny last Thursday, following an illness.
