Our photographers were out and about around the country this week.
Nigel Burns harvesting winter barley at Knockenree, Avoca, Co. Wicklow. The crop yielded 3.5t per acre at 19% moisture and 62kph.

Baling winter barley straw at Balrath, Navan, Co Meath for Eddie Finnegan were Trevor Johnston, Cathal Finnegan and Gavin Weldon. The straw was baled at 12% moisture and will be used by dairy famers for feeding and bedding.
