For the past month, members of the Farmers Journal and Irish Field 'Fovember' team have been sporting moustaches of all shapes and sizes in aid of men's health.

Our group is currently number one in national ranking, with a tally of over €20,000 to date. The Irish Field’s Leo Powell is the number one Movember fundraiser in the country having raised over €12,000 by himself.

The lads were rewarded for their growing abilities with a hot towel shave today courtesy of Sam's Barbers to mark the end of Movember campaign. Meanwhile, a cake sale held by Irish Country Living raised €1,150.

The work by Mo Bros is nearly complete but conversations about men's health aren't confined to the month of November. Testicular cancer is the most common cancer among men aged 15-39 with 164 men diagnosed every year in Ireland. One in eight men will develop prostate cancer and it is the 6th most common cause of cancer death among men.

To donate, visit our fundraising page or post your donation to Fovember, Irish Farmers Journal, Irish Farm Centre, Bluebell, Dublin 12. The funding goes towards men’s and boys’ physical and mental health, and is specifically targeted at prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s mental health generally.
