Entires are now open for the National Ploughing Assocation Innovation Arena Awards. The awards, which are in conjunction with Enterprise Ireland and the Farmers Journal, were launched at the Agri Careers event in the RDS last week. Irish agri companies are invited to showcase their innovations at theNational Ploughing Championships in Tullamore. Awards winners will be announced across a range of categories including ‘Agri Engineering’ and ‘Sustainable Agriculture’ and will be eligible to win up to €15,000 as a top prize. This year, for the first time, applications are encouraged from International entrants competing globally for a specific category award. There will also be a top secret award that will only be unveiled on the day.
Last year’s competition attracted 170 entries and 54 were shortlisted.
