A status yellow blight warning remains in place for the rest of the week, especially along Atlantic coasts. Met Éireann is forecasting a cloudy and breezy day with a mix of good dry spells and widespread showers. The showers will be more frequent in the west, becoming heavier later today. Highest temperatures will range between 18°C and 21°C in fresh and gusty southwest winds. Tonight will be windy and thundery with heavy rain forecast.
