Drier conditions developing in the northwest will extend southwards through the rest of the morning and then it will brighten up everywhere to a day of sunny spells and just a few scattered showers. Highest temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees, mildest across the midlands, south and east. Becoming less humid than recently, as a light northerly breeze brings clearer, fresher conditions.
