Dull and damp to start today, with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, according to Met Éireann. Drier conditions developing in the northwest will extend southwards through the rest of the morning and then it will brighten up everywhere to a day of sunny spells and just a few scattered showers. Highest temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees, mildest across the midlands, south and east. Becoming less humid than recently, as a light northerly breeze brings clearer, fresher conditions.
