Met Éireann is forecasting that any lingering rain will clear early today to give a dry day with sunny spells. Highest temperatures 15 to 19 degrees in a moderate to fresh westerly wind. It will be cloudy later tonight which will be followed by some rain, however amounts will be low and many places will stay mainly dry.
Recent heavy rainfall has led to a delayed harvest and left some farmers with no other choice but to house their cattle. Aidan Brennan outlines some solutions for coping with the effects.
