Most areas will be fully dry today, Met Éireann forecasts. Eastern counties will be brightest with some sunny spells. There will be an odd spot of light rain or drizzle later on today, with hill and coastal fog too, especially across Atlantic counties. It will be milder than recent times, with southwesterly winds. Highest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees Celsius

Early tonight will be dry in most parts, again just with the odd spot of rain or drizzle. Under clear spells frost may develop, along with some mist and fog. There will be some outbreaks of rain later in the night and these will be mainly across the north and west. Lowest temperatures tonight of 2 to 7 degrees Celsius and the coldest part of the country will be across Leinster and Munster.
