Today will be mainly dry, apart from a little drizzle in places, according to Met Éireann. Some sunny spells, especially in the west, with cloud gradually increasing through the day. Highest temperatures of 13°C to 17°C.

Tonight will start off mainly dry. However, rain and drizzle will spread across much of the country overnight. Lowest temperatures of 5°C to 8°C.

  • Despite the fall in milk prices, a preliminary estimate from the Teagasc National Farm Survey shows that family farm income increased by 6% last year.
