“These latest readership figures are very encouraging. They continue the strong growth of successive readership surveys. It is once again a tremendous vote of confidence that readers are turning to the Irish Farmers Journal and Irish County Living for technical guidance, news, market information and lifestyle content. The Irish Farmers Journal operates in a Trust structure so all profits made are re-invested in delivering on our mission statement which is to improve the competiveness of Irish farming and the wellbeing of those involved in the sector. We continue to invest heavily in our agricultural specialists and in our digital platforms. This model is proving robust and we would like to thank all our readers for their continued support.”

Commenting on the results Mairead Lavery, Editor of Irish Country Living said: “We couldn’t be happier with these results as by any standards a 41% increase in readership figures is significant. We are delighted to welcome our 47,000 new weekly readers and we will continue to provide a mix of content that reflects the lives they and their families lead.”
