Julie Healy will host a launch night for her debut album in the Ard Rí Hotel in Tuam on Monday 13 April. Julie – On Top of The World is the title of the 12-track compilation which represents a dream come true for the Galway lady.

Songs like Top of The World, Birthplace Donegal, Dingle Bay, The Mountains of Mayo, Windows Up In Heaven and The Lights of Rosslare Harbour are among those featured on the album.

The Conquerors will provide the music for the big night and guests on the show include John McNicholl, Michael English, Mary Darcy, PJ Murrihy, Philomena and Michael O’Brien, Sean Wilson and Tony Mac, Carmel McLaughlin, Annette Griffin and John Staunton, Maureen McGovern, and Nicky Kealy.

Julie, who was born and raised in Glenamaddy, spent many years in England before returning to her native county of Galway, where she now lives in the city.

Apart from music, her great interest is astrology, which she studies in much detail.

The album was recorded in Pat Coyne’s studio in Cong and Julie is delighted to see her project come to fruition.

Tickets for the show in the Ard Rí Hotel in Tuam are just €10 and a gala night is assured at this dance which will mark the launch of Julie – On Top of the World.
