A protest at Kerry Foods in Carrickmacross scheduled for this Tuesday has been suspended, pending a ballot among SIPTU members.
This is one of three protests planned after Kerry Foods announced in February that it was seeking 31 redundancies due to falling Euro-Sterling exchange rates after the Brexit vote of 2016.
SIPTU Organiser, Jim McVeigh told the Irish Farmers Journal that after a meeting with the company on Monday the proposals have been revised.
