Farmers and vets have just two weeks left to complete and submit outstanding information for the Knowledge Transfer programme. This includes the farm improvement plan and attendance records to confirm participants have attended at least five meetings. The Department of Agriculture is advising participants and their vets to take immediate steps to ensure animal health plans are submitted on time in order to avoid reduced payments.
Knowledge Transfer meetings and approved national events are currently recorded as taking place in year one due to the extended deadline. This will remain the case until 31 July after which meetings will take place in year two.
