Kuhn Group has announced the launch of Kuhn Center Ireland as the new sole importer marketing its complete range of machinery in the Republic of Ireland. Kuhn Center Ireland is a new company that was set up by the owners of Cork Farm Machinery in August, which up until this announcement was one of two Kuhn dealers in the south of Ireland.

Based in Cork and led by Rosarie Crowley, the Kuhn Center Ireland team of directors includes her father, Frank Crowley, founder of Cork Farm Machinery.

The new company is currently based at the Cork Farm Machinery premises at Carrigrohane Road, Cork.

The new Kuhn Center is familiar with the Kuhn range, and will operate through a national dealer network. This network will include WW Doherty & Sons, who will continue as a retailer of Kuhn equipment from its depots in Adare, Co Limerick, and Tralee, Co Kerry.

The Kuhn brand has been present in the Irish market for more than 30 years.

Siân Pritchard, managing director of Kuhn UK and Ireland said: “Kuhn Center Ireland will be able to offer the Kuhn brand a platform from which we can build further.”

This announcement should not affect the customers of Kuhn products, as they will be continuing to use existing dealers. The move from Kuhn, it seems, is an attempt to increase efficiency in Ireland.
