Lakeland has secured a contract to supply Tesco with a range of premium ice-cream. Lakeland has been supplying Tesco for three years and this new deal will see the co-op sell almost €1m worth of ice cream, milk and butter products to Tesco.

The new range of ice cream and frozen yoghurt is packaged in 500ml tubs own brand in a range of flavours. Dermot Farrell, General Manager for Lakeland Dairies commented “Developing mutually beneficial business relationships is the key to successfully enabling category growth”.

Lakeland reported revenues of €545m for 2013 and their 2014 results are due out within the next month.
