Jordan Auctioneers, Newbridge, is offering two substantial farms for sale via public auction next week. The first farm is a 90-acre non-residential farm situated in Swordlestown, Naas, Co Kildare. The land is all in one block and laid out in six divisions. It’s described as “top quality” by Jordans and is currently under tillage. The land is classified in the soils map of Co Kildare as the Elton and Dunstown series.

The farm is sheltered by mature natural boundaries and comes with entitlements of circa €11,000. The property has frontage onto the R411 between Naas and Ballymore Eustace, with separate access to the land from an adjacent laneway.

Jordans will offer the lands at Swordlestown for sale by public auction on Tuesday, 30 September, at 4pm in the Keadeen Hotel, Newbridge, and is guiding in the region of €10,000/acre for the farm.

The following day, Jordans will offer for sale a 60.5-acre farm situated at Corbally, Ballylinan, Co Laois. This non-residential block of farmland is described as “good quality”, has been “well farmed and managed” and has extensive road frontage.

The farm will be offered in its entire or in two separate lots. Lot one extends to 15.5 acres and is all in grass. The second lot comprises the remaining 45 acres, 32 acres of which are under tillage with the balance in grass.

The farm at Corbally, Ballylinan, will be offered for sale by public auction on Wednesday, 1 October, at 3pm in the Clanard Hotel, Athy. Again, Jordans is guiding the price at €10,000/acre.
