Zetor ends tractor tour

Zetor held its annual nationwide tractor show, comprising of nine dates from 7 to 16 April.

The show was the firm’s biggest and most ambitious yet, touring nine counties north and south of the border.

Competitions held at each stop allowed customers to enter a draw for a trip to Prague, plus computer tablets.

This year also saw the inclusion of the Zetor gallery on the road – an interactive feature showcasing Zetor through the ages with a vintage Zetor Z25K on display.

A full line-up of Zetor tractor models was available for customer test drives.

This included the latest Zetor Forterra 150 HD, which develops 147hp, a Zetor Major 80 equipped with Deutz engine and Zetor-branded loaders based on the Ålö Trima Plus series, a sister brand of Quicke.

In the Major 80 is a four-cylinder, 2.9-litre Deutz TCD engine which develops 75hp. The engine meets Stage IIIB emission regulations with a diesel oxidation catalyst.

Specification includes a 12x12 gearbox with a top speed of 30km/h, plus a rear lift capacity of 2.4t.

There will be more to come from Zetor later in the year and into 2016 as the firm launches larger models and ranges.

These are expected to be equipped with six-cylinder Deutz engines to meet the latest emission regulations.
