In association with Limerick National City of Culture, the concert of the Defence Force Ireland marks the 75th anniversary of the 12th infantry battalion. Taking place in the People’s Park on Thursday 24 July at 6pm, the event will feature The Bands of the First Brigade. Some of the finest artisan foods will be provided by Country Choice. There will be coffee by Harpers Coffee and some familiar traders from the Milk Market. One of the attractions of the evening will be the music scores from films such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, ET, Mission Impossible and Indiana Jones.
