Total calf exports this year stood at 137,293 head, by the week ending 10 June. This is 44% ahead of this time in 2017, the latest Department of Agriculture records show.

For the week ending 10 June, 3,693 calves were exported. The reduction on previous weeks stems from a seasonal decline in availability of calves.
