Farming life takes centre stage once again at the AIB stand this year. Presenter of Ear to the Ground Helen Carroll returns as MC for a set of AIB Shed Talks.
The future of agribusiness, sustainability, rural life and work-life balance will all be discussed by high-profile guests in what is sure to be a series of stimulating talks.
A team of dedicated AIB agri advisers will also be on hand to assist farmers with any business and personal finance needs.
There will be a particular focus on showing customers the suite of supports and cashflow products in light of the hectic weather events in 2018, so be sure to stop by if the crazy weather played havoc on your farm this year.
Visit row 18, stand 378. Nab some free (shredded) money for yourself at this year’s Central Bank of Ireland stand.
Over €500,000 in shreds of different denominations of cash no longer fit for circulation will be on display at the stand and you can even take some home with you.

€500,000 of shredded money at the Central Bank stand at the National Ploughing Championships.
The Central Bank is marking 75 years of public service this year and, at the Ploughing, staff members will also be on hand to answer questions about Brexit and the economy.
For the first time, the Irish team will be joined by the European Central Bank, with visitors getting the chance to get the inside scoop into their new travelling exhibition.
Most importantly, if you are planning to borrow money in the next year, the experts from the Central Credit Register team will tell you more about your credit report and how you can access it.
They will also be talking about various aspects of their work including their online consumer hub and the newly developed Central Credit Register, with lots of fun games for people of all ages and the chance to win some great prizes.
Visit row 14, stand 301.
Keep your eyes peeled for GAA stars while speaking with specialists about your agri-finance needs in the Bank of Ireland tent. Agri-development managers will be on site to discuss the financial requirements of farmers.
There will also be a specialist team available to discuss agri-machinery funding.
The bank’s key priority at the Ploughing is to support customers as they build and expand their farm business and to provide helpful solutions enabling farmers and agribusinesses to plan ahead. The bank has a new refinance agri package offering farmers the option to move existing loans from other lenders, while keeping the interest rate and loan repayment terms.
This package is only available for secured loans until 30 November, so head to the stand to discuss your options.
