Four-day search of suspected hiding place for stolen jeeps
Police in Northern Ireland have arrested four men as part of an investigation into multiple Toyota Land Cruiser thefts in the Republic in recent months.
The PSNI has recovered stolen property including vehicles and spare parts.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland have raided a suspected hiding place for stolen vehicles and arrested four men in Mayobridge, Co Down. A PSNI spokesperson told the Irish Farmers Journal that the search started on Friday 5 October and ended the following Monday.
The spokesperson was responding to a query on the investigation into multiple thefts targeting Toyota Land Cruisers from farms and other premises in the Republic, especially in Co Meath.

Police said four men aged 59, 51, 40 and 37 were arrested at the scene of the search on suspicion of handling property believed to have been stolen in the Republic of Ireland. They have been interviewed and released on police bail pending further enquiries.
“This protracted four-day search operation has resulted in a significant amount of suspected stolen property being recovered," said PSNI Detective Sergeant Bell.
He invited people with information about stolen vehicles or vehicle parts to contact the PSNI in Newry on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference number 631 of 05/10/18. From the Republic, detectives can be contacted on +44 28 9065 0222.
Information can also be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 in Northern Ireland or 1 800 25 00 25 in the Republic.
