Pebble Business Transformation is to integrate business acquisitions at Ornua, after Ornua engaged the consultancy firm to help deliver its five-year plan.
Under the plan, Ornua wants to build sustainable and value-added routes to market for Irish dairy products that will generate revenues of €3bn and deliver a sustainable EBITA margin of 3% by 2021.
A spokesperson for Ornua told the Irish Farmers Journal that Ornua’s M&A activity in recent years involved 10 acquisitions of new businesses.

Early in 2017, it acquired UK cheese ingredients company FJ Need (Foods) Limited and in late 2016 acquired the Chicago-based powder ingredient production facility CoreFX Ingredients.
“In late 2016, we launched Ornua 2021, our group five-year plan, and as part of this plan, it was evident that we needed to focus on integration of these businesses to help standardise our operating model. We have engaged with Pebble to support us in this process and this project relates solely to standardisation,” the spokesperson said.
