Olleco, ABP’s renewable division has been shortlisted for an environmental award at the World Economic Forum.

The award’s ceremony will take place in Davos in the coming week, where just six companies have been shortlisted for the award.

Olleco is delighted

Olleco is operational in Ireland and the UK, and collects food waste and cooking oil which is converted into renewable sources such as electricity and organic fertiliser across four depots.

In the UK, the company is involved with producing bio-diesel.

“Olleco is delighted to have made the final shortlist,” Robert Behan, CEO of ABP’s renewable dvision Olleco said.

“This recognition is a strong testament to the hard work of every one of the nearly 1,000-strong staff who are dedicated to delivering innovative circular economy solutions.”
