North Tipperary Macra na Feirme has teamed up with Healthy Ireland to launch a new initiative to tackle mental health issues in the farming community.
The initiative, titled Make the Moove – Farmer’s Matter, aims to develop a community-based response for farming men in rural communities.
As part of the launch, farmers are invited to attend a workshop in Racket Hall in Roscrea on Thursday 24 January from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
The workshop will focus on individual stories from farmers and their battles with depression and rural isolation.
