Charles Smith and Teddy Cashman have beaten off stiff competition from 12 other candidates to secure two seats on the board of Agri-Aware.

Smith was nominated for the position by ABP and Kepak. Meanwhile Cashman was nominated by ifac. The pair replace Tom Cunniffe (Aurivo) and Edmond Harty (Dairymaster).

The Agri Aware AGM takes place today, Thursday, and the Dealer hears that former Macra president Alan Jagoe is running for chair.

If he succeeds in replacing Richard Moeran as chair, then Jagoe’s current position of vice-chair will be up for grabs.
