    Process

As part of the scheme, farmers are required to submit the registration number of the scales, the date of weighing and the weight of cows and calves recorded to ICBF.

Animals must be recorded one at a time. Only calves that are weighed when they are unweaned are eligible for payment under the scheme.

All weight records must be submitted within seven days of the completion of the weighing process. ICBF will issue a suggested four-week window for participants to weigh their calves based on their herds calving pattern.
