Over 100 businesses and entrepreneurs entered the competition last year and 60 were shortlisted as finalists and invited to exhibit their innovations at the National Ploughing Championships, where the winners are announced every year.
Enterprise Ireland's regions and entrepreneurship manager Mark Christal said the event was also an opportunity to showcase products to potential customers from Ireland and beyond.
"Over 100 international buyers visited the arena last year and we expect this number to increase for 2019," he said.
This year’s Innovation Arena will include a conference centre with talks and seminars on the agri-tech sector in Ireland and key market issues including Brexit, as well as networking opportunities for entrepreneurs.
